Download lessons for on‑the‑go learning is on the way. You’ll be able to save selected content to your device and manage storage in the app. We’ll update this article as soon as it’s available.
Quick start
Install the app. Get the Teachable app from the Google Play Store.
Sign in with your email. Enter the email you use for your Teachable school(s) and follow the prompts to verify (one‑time code).
Pick a school and course. If you’re enrolled in more than one school, choose the right school, then open your course.
Continue where you left off. Your progress syncs with the web, so you can pick up the next lesson right away.

Open the app → Sign in.
Enter your email and follow the prompts to verify your login.
You're all set, select your school to get the latest lesson!
Manage notifications
In Settings → Notifications, choose what to receive (e.g., new lesson, updates).
You can also manage alerts in your Android system settings.
Tip: Billing and subscription changes usually happen on the school’s website. If you need a refund or to change a plan, check your purchase receipt and contact the school owner.
Other things you can do
Browse all lessons in a course and jump to specific modules.
Read text lessons and view images and embeds.
Take quizzes/assessments if your school includes them.
Leave comments or ask questions where enabled by your school.
Use captions for accessibility when provided by the creator.
Multi‑device sync: Start on web, continue on Android (and vice‑versa).
Frequently asked questions
Which Android versions are supported?
We support modern Android versions commonly available on Play‑supported devices. For the best experience, always update to the latest app version.
I don’t see my course where is it?
Confirm you’re signed into the same email you used to purchase. If you’re in multiple schools, switch to the correct school, then check My Courses.
I didn’t receive the verification code.
Check spam/junk, make sure your inbox isn’t full, and try again. If it still doesn’t arrive, contact your school’s support.
Can I learn offline?
Offline mode is coming soon. You’ll be able to download select lessons and manage storage in app. Until then, you’ll need an internet connection to watch content.
Can I purchase or manage subscriptions in the app?
Most purchases and subscription changes happen on the school’s website. If you have questions about billing, contact the school owner directly.
Why don’t I see captions or downloads?
These features depend on your school’s settings and the lesson content. If something seems missing, reach out to your school.
How do I turn off notifications?
In the app, go to Settings → Notifications. You can also control them in Android system settings.
My video won’t play / the app seems slow.
Check your connection, close background apps, and update to the latest version of the app. If issues persist, try reinstalling or contact support with your device model and Android version.
