Finding high-quality images is something every school owner wants: it helps your school look more high-quality and professional, and thus more marketable, than a school with lackluster photos. Here are a few ways you can source images that enhance your school.

Free Stock Photos
There are several websites that provide free, high-quality images you can use for your school and courses.

You can always search for images on Google as well. However, when doing so, be aware of the four levels of usage rights:
- Labeled for reuse with modification: The image can be used in either its original or altered form for any kind of purpose.
- Labeled for reuse: The image can be used in its original form for any kind of purpose. However, it can not be altered/edited.
- Labeled for noncommercial reuse with modification: The image can be used for non-revenue-generating purposes and can also be modified.
- Labeled for noncommercial reuse: The image can be used for non-revenue-generating purposes but cannot be modified.
NOTE: If you're charging for your course, you won't be able to use any noncommercial reuse images.
Premium Stock Photos
The upside of purchasing stock images is that it is less likely that others will be using the image. This will help your course stand out and look more unique. Plus, you’ll be more likely to find the perfect photo if you’re willing to pay for it.
Your Own Photos
Another option is to take your own photos! Not only will you hold all permissions, but this also guarantees novelty. Just be sure to do some research on photo techniques and composition in order to take an impressive photo that doesn’t look like a point-and-shoot picture. You can use a program like Photoshop to refine the image as you see fit.
