Teachable offers several convenient ways to set up your own custom sales page on your desired external page editor (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, Wix).

If you have a WordPress blog/site and are unfamiliar with coding or want an easy way to sell your Teachable product we recommend installing our WordPress plugin.

For the more advanced user who wants to code their purchase experience from scratch we recommend linking directly to your checkout link.

By following these steps, you can effectively direct your audience from your custom sales page to the Teachable checkout, maintaining a seamless experience for your users. This allows you to take advantage of Teachable’s robust content management features while using your preferred platform for sales and marketing.

  1. Within your school admin, select the product you want to create an external sales page for.
  2. Navigate to the “Pricing” section in the sidenav or on the Setup guide (if you’re in a course). Learn more about setting up and managing product pricing
  3. Find the pricing plan you want to use and click on the “Copy” button next to the URL in the Checkout URL column. This action will automatically copy the URL to your clipboard.
  4. Go to your external sales page editor (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace, Wix).
  5. Paste the copied checkout URL into the appropriate section of your sales page. This could be a button or a link that directs your potential students to the checkout page.
  6. Make sure to test the link to ensure it directs correctly to the Teachable checkout page with the appropriate pricing plan.
NOTE: Only paid pricing plans can be previewed. If your product is unpublished you must be logged in to preview the page.
