Student guide: Log in to your account

Learn how to access your Teachable school account, understand login types, and troubleshoot common login issues.

Overview

Each Teachable-powered school has its own login portal and account system. When you purchase a product (like a course or coaching), you’ll receive a confirmation email to verify your account and get access.

There are three ways to log in:

  • School accounts – For a specific school only

  • Teachable accounts – A single login for multiple schools

  • Google accounts – Use your Google credentials (if enabled by the school)

Note: Some schools disable Teachable or Google account login options.


How to log in

Log in using a school account

  1. Go to the school’s homepage.

    • If you don’t remember the URL, check your inbox for a confirmation email (e.g., “Confirm your account” or “Redeem your copy of x”).

  2. Click Log in in the upper-right corner.

  3. Enter your email address and click Log in.

You’ll receive a one-time password (OTP) in your email.

  1. Enter the OTP code into the verification portal.

Once verified, you’ll be logged in and can access your products.

Tip: Can’t access your email? Click Log in with password instead at the bottom of the screen to use your password or log in with Google (if available).

To view your products, click Browse products in the top menu after logging in.


Log in using a Teachable or Google account

If the school has enabled Teachable or Google login:

  1. From the school’s homepage, click Log in.

  2. Click Log in with Teachable or Log in with Google.

  3. Enter your account email and password, then click Log in.

After logging in, click Browse products to see your purchased items.

Note: If you don’t see these login options, the school has disabled them. Use your school account to log in instead.


Troubleshooting login issues

I don’t see a login button on the school’s website

School owners can customize their sites. If the login button is missing:

  • Contact the school owner directly for help.

  • Try going directly to: yourschool.teachable.com/sign_in


I’m not receiving my OTP login code

Here’s how to troubleshoot:

  • Check your spam folder – The OTP email may be filtered.

  • Click "Resend code" after 1 minute if you don’t receive it.

  • Double-check your email for typos.

Note: If your email is incorrect, update it in your browser and try logging in again.


I have a Teachable Account, but my new school isn’t showing up

This may happen if:

  • You haven’t connected your school account to your Teachable account, or

  • The school has disabled Teachable Accounts. In that case, log in with your school account directly.

I don’t see my products after logging in

You might have created multiple accounts with different emails. This is common if a typo occurred during purchase.

Make sure you’re logged into the correct email. If needed, contact the school owner to verify.


I see a "your email or password is incorrect" message

Here’s what to try:

  1. Check for typos in your email and password.

  2. Try another login method:

    • Use Log in with Teachable, if enabled.

  3. If the error persists, reset your password.

I forgot my password

Follow the password reset guide to recover access.

Note: If you're not logged in after resetting:

  • Turn off browser extensions or password managers

  • Open the reset link in an incognito window

  • Clear your browser cache if needed


I didn’t receive a confirmation email

After enrolling, you’ll receive a confirmation email from Teachable.

  • If logged in, look for a banner prompting you to confirm your account.

  • Click Resend email from the banner if needed.

Tip: Check your spam folder or “All Mail” view in your inbox. Add Teachable to your safe sender list.

Still no access? Contact the school owner.


I used the wrong or outdated email

If you:

  • Misspelled your email

  • Used the wrong one during signup

  • No longer have access to the email used

Start by contacting the school owner to update your email. If they don’t respond, contact Teachable Support.


How do I log in to the Teachable mobile app?

To use the app:

  1. You must have a Teachable Account connected to your school account

  2. The school must have Teachable Accounts enabled


I’ve tried everything and still can’t log in

Try these common troubleshooting steps:

  • Use a different browser or device

  • Clear cache and cookies

  • Disable browser extensions

  • Try private/incognito mode

Why am I forced to log in every time?

To stay logged in:

  • Check the Remember Me box on the login screen
