Categories let you group similar offerings together on the Browse Products page. You can update, hide, or share them directly from your navigation settings to better control what students see—and how they explore your content.

How categories display
The Browse Products page shows a maximum of 10 categories at a time.
Only one category can be selected at a time.
When selected, students will see all published courses tagged with that category.Categories appear in chronological order
The oldest created categories display first by default.
Note: If your school has more than 10 categories, only the first 10 created will be visible on the Browse Products page.
How to edit or hide a category
Navigate to Site > Navigation.
Scroll down to the Categories section.
Click the pencil icon to update the category name or toggle its visibility.
How to share a hidden category
Even if a category is hidden from your public catalog, it can still be shared via direct link.
Toggle off visibility for the category under Site > Navigation.
Use the following URL format to share the hidden category:

Important: Anyone with the link can access the category and its products, as long as the products themselves are published and visible.

Why don’t I see all of my categories?
Only the first 10 categories (in chronological order) appear on the Browse Products page. Additional categories won’t be displayed unless you remove or reorder others.

Can students select multiple categories at once?
No. Students can only view one category at a time. When selected, only the courses tagged with that category will appear.

Can I share a category that isn’t visible in the catalog?
Yes. Hidden categories can still be shared using a direct link. The category page will load as long as the products within it are published and visible.
