In certain cases, you may be eligible for a refund when downgrading your school. This article goes over Teachable’s refund policy and how to request a refund.

Teachable’s Instructor Refund Policy
We want every user to be satisfied with their experience using our platform, which is why we offer a 30-day refund policy to school owners on paid plans. Teachable's instructor refund policy is outlined in more detail in Teachable's Terms of Use.
NOTE: You can cancel your Teachable plan at any time from your Settings > Plan page. Once your plan has been cancelled, you will no longer be charged for your monthly or annual plan.
Monthly Plans
If you’re on a monthly paid plan, then you’re entitled to a full refund within the first 30 days of your paid plan. Teachable will not grant refund requests made more than 30 days after your initial plan upgrade.
For example, if you upgrade to the monthly Professional plan on March 1st, then you’ll be eligible for a refund until March 30th. If you do not request a refund within this time, then you will be ineligible for a refund for subsequent subscription payments.
Annual Plans
If you’re on an annual paid plan, then you’re entitled to a full refund within 30 days of your initial upgrade to an annual plan. Teachable will not grant refund requests made more than 30 days from the date of your initial upgrade.
For example, if you upgrade to the annual Professional plan on March 1st, 2022 then you’ll be eligible for a refund until March 30th, 2022. If you do not request a refund within this time, then you will be ineligible for a refund.
Request a Refund
If you are eligible for a refund as per our Terms of Use, first downgrade your school plan from your Settings > Plan page.. Once you downgrade your plan, contact Customer Care to request a refund.
