Overview
You can duplicate or delete any Teachable product—courses, digital downloads, coaching, or bundles—within your school.
Duplicating is useful for creating backups or building off existing content. Deleting is permanent and removes the product from your school.

Duplicating or deleting unpublished products will not count toward your published product limits. Learn more about plan limits here.

How to use duplicate or delete
Duplicate a product
You can duplicate any product in your school. This will copy over:
Content like curriculum, files, and page information
Product thumbnail
To duplicate a product:
Navigate to the product’s index page (e.g., Courses, Digital downloads, etc.).
Click the More options (three dots) icon next to the product.
Select Duplicate.
In the popup window, click Duplicate to confirm.
The duplicated product will appear with a (1) in the title (e.g., (1) My Course). You can rename it from the Information tab.
Important: Student enrollment records are not duplicated.
Delete a product
You can delete a product using either of the following methods:
Option 1:
Navigate to the product’s index page (e.g., Courses, Digital downloads, etc.).
Click the More options (three dots) icon next to the product.
Select Delete [product type].
In the popup window, click Delete to confirm.
Option 2:
Navigate to the product’s index page.
Click into the specific product.
For courses:
For other product types:
In the popup, click Delete to confirm.
Caution: Deleting a product is permanent. Its content will be irretrievable.
Important: Deleting a bundle does not delete the individual products inside it. You must delete those separately.
Note: If students purchased a bundle with a subscription or payment plan, those payments will stop once the bundle is deleted. Learn more about product bundles.

Does deleting a product automatically end any active subscriptions or payment plans?
Yes. Deleting a product will end any active subscriptions or payment plans associated with it, and students will no longer be charged.
Is there any way to retrieve a deleted product?
No. Deleting a product is permanent.
Tip: Instead of deleting a product, consider unpublishing it. Unpublished products don’t count toward your plan limit.
Can I access student records from deleted products?
No. Student enrollment records (including progress data) are not available for deleted products.
Note: You can still view sales transactions for deleted products under Sales > Transactions.
