Teachable's refund policy
If a school is using one of Teachable's payment gateways, then their students are entitled to a full refund within 14 days of their initial payment for course purchases.

Note: A $10,000 USD daily refund limit applies across the platform. If this limit is reached, your refund may be processed the following day.
How to request a refund
Your first step is to contact the school directly. Look for a contact link on the school's website, or check your enrollment confirmation email for the school owner's contact details.
If you're within the 14-day refund window and the school is unresponsive, or if you need additional assistance, contact us with the following information:
The email address associated with your Teachable account
The name of the product you purchased
The date of purchase
If you are within the 14-day window, Teachable will honor the refund, and you will be unenrolled from the product.
Note: Refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Refunds on card payments typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.
What can delay or prevent a refund
Active dispute or chargeback
If you've already filed a dispute or chargeback with your bank for the same transaction, a refund cannot be processed until the dispute is resolved. Contact us before filing a chargeback — we can often resolve the issue faster.
Outside the refund window
Refunds requested after 14 days are outside Teachable's standard policy and are processed at the school owner's discretion. Contact us and we'll do our best to help.
Subscription or payment plan purchases
Refunds on subscriptions apply to the most recent payment only. Prior payments in a billing cycle are generally not eligible for refund. Cancelling your subscription stops future charges but does not automatically trigger a refund — see Manage your subscription if you'd like to cancel going forward.

I'm within 14 days — how long will my refund take to process?
Once your request is confirmed, the refund is initiated promptly. Card refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement. If you haven't seen it after 10 business days, contact your bank first, then reach out to us if they can't locate it.
Will I lose access to the product when I request a refund?
Yes — once a refund is issued, your access to the product is removed. If you change your mind, you would need to repurchase.
I purchased through PayPal — can I still get a refund?
Yes. Refunds are processed back to your original PayPal account. The timeline may vary depending on PayPal's processing.
My refund request is for a coaching or digital download product — what's the policy?
Refund policies for coaching, digital downloads, and bundles containing either are set by the school owner, not by Teachable. Contact us and we'll help connect you with the right information.
Can I get a partial refund?
Yes — partial refunds are supported. Let us know the amount you're requesting when you contact us.
