When you sign up for Teachable, you create a Teachable Account and your first School.
Your Teachable Account allows you to create and hold different user roles for multiple Schools and access them from a centralized dashboard.
User roles include owner, student, author, or affiliate.

As an owner, a School is where you can:
- Manage School Users
- Customize Your School Site
- View Sales Reports and Set Up Payouts
- Write and Send Student Emails
- Configure Settings
- Create and Manage Products
You can create multiple Schools within your Teachable Account.
Each School requires its own Free or Paid Plan.
